Background
H-E-B is a Texas-based grocery store chain with over 400 store locations and more than 125,000 employees, making it one of the largest employers in the state and the 6th largest privately held company in the United States.
During this 5-day design project, I had the chance to take on the role of project manager and mentor for an associate product designer I was paired with. I identified opportunities for a user interface (UI) redesign based on existing research.

Results
• Design was able to provide high value in a short amount of time.
• The prototype redesign was tested and is now live in all stores.
• User complaints dropped from tens per week to zero after the redesign was implemented.
• Associate designer increased confidence and experience.
